Channel your inner Wonder Woman with these out of control heavy duty Stone Wired Cuffs ($170, in gold or silver). They are designed by attorney-turned-designer Susan Hanover, who takes inspiration from her native South Africa to create her unique pieces.

Here Hanover embellishes the polished metal bands with oversized semiprecious stones and gems for a chunky look. The unique oval, square and teardrop shaped baubles are strung together with wire to create a clustered top. Fabulous.

Not for those with a “less is more” state of mind, Motif 56 returns with their statement-making Rock Fringe Hobo Bag ($195) which made a short appearance before completely selling out its first time online. The slouched hobo is enveloped in thin strips of leather fringe with a deep blue backside that cover every square inch from shoulder strap to bottom.

A bit of fun for a Friday afternoon...

Time to channel your inner snow bunny. These extra fluffy fox fur earmuffs look exactly like giant makeup puffs. The 6" round fur balls are attached to soft ear covers which connect via a 1” velvet black headband. Ss large as they are, they are quite the portable accessory -- the muffs fold inward so they can snuggle right into your handbag.

Some of the most iconic pieces of the fall season have been created by Lyndsey Butler of VEDA fame. Her mood and sensibility seem to fall right in line with the heavy metal look of the Goth girl who is seductively feminine.

One of our favorite skirts of the season is Mercury, which marries a studded leather front with a doubleknit back (imagine sitting on these studs... we shudder to think of it). In any case, the skirt is a statement piece that you can finish with something as easy as a tee.

BTW, we do so love that VEDA's Lower East Side store has a black tombstone shaped cash register. How perfect.

Who knew that heavy metal studs could be so feminine?

The major necklace trend right now is major, indeed -- a bold, right out there fashion statement in the form of studs, crystals, fringes and more strung from ribbon ties. You will most often find this necklace style in the form of a bib to be knotted close to the neck. The beauty of this clever construction is that you can, of course, wear the necklace to whatever length you desire which conveniently expands your fashion options.

After a recent "You Need This: The Shirt" feature on our site, our shirts have become our #1 bestsellers. There are a few trends to be aware of that differentiate the shirt selection we've edited for you:

1. The Oversized Shirt. A boy meets girl oversized and very casual look, usually in plaid, that is the signature look (and done to perfection) of Elizabeth and James.

2. The Classic Americana Shirt. Think red and black checks, washed and worn denim or style influenced by the tailoring of Out West. All American. Heart of the country. You get the picture.

3. The Pretty Fancy Shirt. You've seen styles this fall that are fitted thanks to their button backs from Elizabeth and James. Watch for more of those. VEDA channels sugar and spice with a holiday collection that couples delicate lace and buttery leather. Led by NYU grad Lyndsey D. Butler, the leather-centric collection gets a touch feminine with the addition of black floral lace. For an unexpected touch of lace, their Finley vest ($398) is leathered at the front and completely sheer floral lace at the rear. The peekaboo factor is also found in their Kendall jacket, ($625) which looks like a simple cropped leather jacket, but in reality has a lace inset that wraps around the front like a delicate top.
